45,000 letters issued this week to property owners, registered for income tax or corporation tax, who have arrears of Local Property Tax (LPT), according to Revenue’s records. The letters give property owners 14 days to rectify matters or Revenue may proceed with enforcement activity. Arrears may also impact on the availability a Tax Clearance Certificate.
